Plot Twist · Case 001

A little suspicion goes a long way

The assignment

You host the night.
The case runs itself.

Most mystery kits hand the host a long PDF and a second job. Alibi Club is being shaped around a box, character cards, and an audio companion prototype that keeps the story moving.

Prototype scope: audio clues during the night, then one final reveal. The app experience is in development.

  1. 01 /

    Deal the characters.

Invite 4–8 players and hand each person a character card. Everyone has a reason to look innocent.

  2. 02 /

    Follow the audio clues.

The two-hour companion prototype is planned to pace the clues and give the host room to play along.

  3. 03 /

    Make your accusation.

Get everyone pointing at the killer, then open the reveal. Film the reactions if you like; keep the solution off your feed.

Character card + $10-off invite code

Referral idea · Not yet active

The referral loop · planned

Every guest gets
a new alibi.

The idea: each guest takes home a character card with a $10-off invite code. If about one in eight guests hosts within six weeks, every party can start another one.

The clip: the “everyone point at the killer” moment is made for the group chat. Post the reactions. Never post the solution.

Planning tool · not real data

Is it viral?

Change the assumptions. See the K-factor and model host counts through eight cycles, with no paid ads. These are planning inputs, not observed results.

People who get a chance to host next.

Set the share of guests who host within six weeks.

Extra hosts attributed to posted party clips.

The first group of hosts in the model.

Current model: 7 guests × 12% + 0 hosts from clips = K 0.84, starting from 100 hosts. Plan targets: K ≥ 1 and at least 12% of guests become hosts; rework the loop if measured conversion stays below 6%. These are planning assumptions, not observed results.

Host-to-host reproduction

0.84K

At this setting, each host creates fewer than one modeled host.
